Straw technology
Built in timber frame and isolated straw, the Louise Michel school of Issy-les-Moulineaux is the first public institution of several floors to mobilize, in France, this technique.
It was necessary all the determination of both architects Sonia Cortesse and Bernard Dufournet to end in the possibility of realizing an public establishment on two fllors with a straw facade and of opening so the way to the use more spread to this biomaterial in the construction.
