The hybrid lighting
Transforming sunlight into interior light
The company echy created by two young Polytechnique School of Bridges and Roads, has patented a new lighting solution for capturing sunlight outside buildings and transport, through fiber optics, local inwardly.
Easy to use and inexpensive, this solution allows to provide natural light during the day in windowless rooms.
In addition to improved visual comfort, the system allows for serious electricity savings. The yield was 18%, while it is often only 3% for photovoltaic panels used for lighting.
On average, a 3 m2 echy panel can illuminate an area of 50-80 square meters.
