Metropolitan representation
A necessary inversion of the look
Being a member of one of 15 interdisciplinary teams of the Atelier du Grand Paris, Béatrice Mariolle, architect and town planner, suggests restoring a sensitive and local reading of the territory to renovate and re-base the classic tools of the town planning. Considering that the systems of representation reached, today, their limits of efficiency and relevance, Béatrice Mariolle argues for an inversion of the look: leave the ground towards the territory and not the opposite.
