Citizen and solidarity energy

Valorem, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, will have 300 employees at the end of the year. With 60 new hires in 2019, the Bègles-based company producing electricity from renewable energies (ENR) continues to grow, particularly in Scandinavia and the West Indies.

This pioneering company in the development of wind power in France has remained independent of the major electricity producers and has mastered the entire green energy chain, from study and design to installation and then operation.

In addition, Valorem recently signed a cooperation agreement with Voies navigable de France to develop, finance, build and operate 10 hydroelectric power plants on the Seine, the Saône and the Canal du Rhône au Rhin.

Energy: placing renewable energy production at the heart of citizen issues and participatory and solidarity-based finance mechanisms.
