Social house

quality of use and architectural

At the request of the government, the working group on the architectural quality and use of social housing has just released its conclusions :

Two main ideas:
> Control of use or how to give more room to future inhabitants in the design of their future housing,
> The holistic vision of housing or how to stop considering housing as a box but more as a living environment integrating the notions of comfort and well-being, flexibility, outdoor ambiences, etc. > The holistic vision of housing or how to stop considering housing as a box but more as a living environment integrating the notions of comfort and well-being, flexibility, outdoor ambiences, etc.
Guided in part by the consequences of confinement, the proposed measures also insist on the possibilities of extending housing to the outside, on its potential for adaptability.
Another interesting measure is the proposal to establish a "territorial charter for the quality of the living environment" at the living area level, coordinated with a single label for "quality of life in sustainable housing" to encourage the multiplication of labels at every turn.
Finally, by emphasizing the need to move from solitary to solidarity building, the think tank underlines the interest of promoting an urban planning of the relationship, aiming to rely on the know-how and innovations of the local sectors, to encourage the transition from a linear to a circular economy.
